Holkham

(Last visited October 2020)

We’re usually off finding lesser-known places, but I love returning to the summer honeypots in the autumn and winter when it’s quieter.

So many people know Holkham well, but if you haven’t been for a while, the Lookout is a great addition – my husband has a disability and having some toilets here is a game-changer for us. There are some drinks and snacks available too (takeaway only at the moment – loved the non plastic vegware). The coast path between Holkham and Wells has had surface improvements recently making it more accessible (no photos of this bit, we were distracted by beach!). Although this posed a problem as that meant no puddles but the path the other side towards Burnham Overy had some amazing ones!
