I discovered these after getting a bit accidentally lost here on a run – and I’m so glad I did. We’ve been to the other side of the woods (Horsford side) but, dare I say, this side was even better. Lots of generally accessible paths for buggies (save a few bumpy bits here and there) and loads of rhododendrons in May… gorgeous!
The route we took (see map) was 1.8 miles, but as you can see from the map, there are lots of paths to explore. There was a gorgeous little detour off to a little stream (this bit was a bit bumpier and not very pushchair friendly, plus the ‘bridge’ was very narrow).
There aren’t any facilities but we had an absolutely lovely walk and Taverham is nearby.
