Secret Garden, How Hill

We absolutely adored this walk. We parked at the main car park (not the one at the house which is reserved for guests) – the walk starts just behind the house. It starts off as a lovely little woodland walk and tucked away further on is the secret garden – a beautiful little boarded walk with water features, streams, amazing plants, seats and old trees. The kids absolutely loved it and my parents appreciated the seating!

The whole place is really accessible – definitely for pushchairs. We went to the tea rooms afterwards and ate a lot of cake (sadly closed at the moment due to Covid).

Entry and parking is free but any donations welcomed. Dogs are welcomed on leads but beware that you need to take doodoos home with you! There are other walks around there to explore too.
