This is a charming, short walk for kids in six acres of beautiful gardens, with ponds, bridges and nature in abundance. Just south of Swaffham, the site also has waterways, bridges connecting the different areas, beautiful trees, shrubs and borders, a nature trail, tea room and facilities.
It’s a lovely little place – lush and green, really peaceful. Not big but plenty big enough as a walk for kids. And just gorgeous. Loads of butterflies, bees, water boatmen, dragonflies… if you love your nature, this is a lovely spot to enjoy it 🦋🐝🐞🌼
It’s an mini-explorer’s paradise. A place to amble about and try and figure out if you’ve already been along that stretch! Kids going free is a big plus. Although there are some steps and roots on the paths, there are lots of accessible ones too – we saw several people with buggies. There are maps at the reception to navigate yourself about the site.
