We first went to Harrison’s Wood in Sprowston in autumn 2018 and it was bursting with different colours – it’s a really diverse woodland and really close to the city.
It has woodland surfaces, but they didn’t seem too bad after the rain and apart from a few rooty patches, pushchairs would cope fine. Dog friendly but need to be on leads. My ‘maturer’ folks with sore knees loved it so a good one for all of us. Different length routes too.
Free parking and almost next door to Sprowston Garden Centre for facilities, but we went to White House Farmย which is also nearby.
The only downside was that we had to cross quite a busy road from the car park, but the traffic actually stopped for us when they saw a tot!
