We had a great time adventuring here in winter 2019 – so close to Norwich and I never knew it was there!
It starts on a small green with little play area and throne! There is a small woodland walk with a little stream running alongside it (it’s not that clearly waymarked but it’s not really big enough to get lost in either).
There is also a nice walk to the church across the common. The ground was okay on our visit and it was after wet weather, but always be prepared for mud in the winter!

🌿 Café: No facilities – closest are Tescos or the Marsh Harrier on the Ipswich Rd (1.7 miles away)

🌿 Pushchairs: No major obstacles – if you have a pushchair that can cope with a bit of mud/woodland leaves you may be ok, but like any woodland area the elements might turn paths muddy in the winter!

🌿 Toilets: No facilities – Tesco and the Marsh Harrier 1.7 miles away
🌿 Seats: Yes
🌿 Picnic area: The common is a nice spot in the summer
