I love this spot – one of the first places we discovered when she was a tot and it’s been much improved in recent years. Fabulous trees on the lead up to the Broad, accessible paths and beautiful views over the water. And ducks. The addition of the Hungry Otter van is great. It’s at the top of the slope so on slightly bumpier ground.

- Pushchairs/Wheelchairs: Yes – compact paths for much of the walk. The grass ‘upper’ part can be accessed by steps on one side or more compact paths by following the path all the way round. For wheelchairs, the paths from the car park to the broad are good and you can probably travel quite far round by the water’s edge, I think the loop up the slope to the coffee van might be a stretch too far. It’s hard to tell when you don’t have accessibility issues yourself, but I saw a wheelchair user looking over the broad so would confidently say yes for some of the paths, and then you have lovely views.
